Over a period of several years, I have hired Fix St. Louis to install a guard-rail on a basement stairways, fix ten sticking doors on an old house that I bought, install small shelves in my basement, apply water-proofing to the bricks on the side of my house, stain the stairs on my deck, and trouble-shoot why the igniters on the gas stove didn't work (It was my fault--the GFCI had tripped and I hadn't noticed it).
In every one of these jobs, the servicemen showed up on time, were polite and helpful, and did excellent work. Hiring FSL is more expensive than hiring an un-insured handyman working off the books, but FSL is worth it because of the confidence you will have that the job will be done right and with no hassle.
